Framing

Frame profile
All our frames are a modern box style profile - a clean, contemporary look. All our frames are made of wood.

Selection of colours
There are several colour options to choose from so you can choose the best tone to suit both the print and your chosen space. The Natural Wood frame style is uncoated and will slightly darken over time.

Simple Style Framing
We frame in simple style framing for a clean, contemporary look. We flatten the print, and then frame it directly against the glass with an acid fee backing board. Large sized prints are mounted to adhesive board and vacuum pressed. All framed prints are professionally taped and strung by hand. They then have soft framing dots applied to the back. Small (A3), Medium (A2) and Large (A1) are pre-strung and ready to hang. Statement (A0) framed prints come with heavy duty D-rings (no string) to ensure safe hanging.

Moulding dimensions
The frame moulding itself is 20mm wide x 30mm high.

For our Statement (A0) sized prints 'Deep Box' moulding is used for structural integrity. Dimensions are approximately 20mm wide x 40mm high

Hanging Tips
It's best to hang your framed prints with two picture hooks (with a space between the hooks). This helps keep the picture straight over time, and also distributes the weight across the frame. For the larger sizes, the attached D-rings are hung directly onto picture hooks to secure the weight of the frame.

Please note that framed prints are only available within New Zealand. For all international orders, please select the unframed option.

AR70 Museum grade art glass
Standard Glass

Glazing

We use AR70 museum-grade glass in our frames. Designed to control surrounding light, AR70 glass drastically reduces glare to under 1% while offering 70% UV protection.
AR70 museum-grade glass is the absolute best way to view artwork as it was intended, without reflection and glare distorting colours and detail.
While it offers strong defence against ambient light, we still recommend hanging your artwork away from direct sunlight to protect it from fade over time.
